Should a builder or an architect be hired first?
Both are essential. A project is handicapped without both the Builder and the Architect present in the beginning phases and working in tandem from the start.
How much does it cost to build a custom home?
Trinity Builders DFW builds Forever Homes, not builder-grade production homes. As such, prices usually start around $500 per square foot, though costs, of course, vary with site, architecture and performance goals. Because each project is fully custom and site-specific, exact costs are best determined once design is underway.
How long does it take to build a Custom Home? What about a Remodel?
The timelines for a Custom Home build typically range from 12 to 24 months. Site condition, size, design and architectural complexity all play a role in the schedule.
For a Remodel, the timeline varies on the scope of work.
What fee structure does Trinity Builders DFW use?
We work on a cost-plus basis. This furnishes our clients with full transparency. We provide every invoice and receipt, keeping us aligned as advocates — stewards of client resources — while insuring fair compensation for our team and our skilled trade partners.
